Argentina to Concede Tecnópolis to Private Sector

Buenos Aires, Dec 14 (NA) – The mayor of Vicente López, Soledad Martínez, celebrated the national government's announcement of the upcoming tender to concession the Tecnópolis site, which will cease to be under state administration and move to a private investment scheme.

“We accompany the national government in this measure,” expressed the chief official through her account on social network X, referring to the initiative promoted by Javier Milei's administration, as learned by the Argentine News Agency.

According to confirmed by the presidential spokesperson and Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni, the tender will be launched this Friday and will allow for “the concession of Tecnópolis” to proceed, under a model that involves contributions from the private sector.

“The site, historically under deficit during the Kirchnerist administration, will now operate under a private investment scheme: it will never again be a burden on the pockets of Argentines,” Adorni stated in a post published on X.

The measure is part of a series of deregulation and public spending reordering policies promoted by the Government.

According to the Argentine News Agency, the replication of this type of model in other state cultural and recreational spaces is being evaluated.
